Half Ironman World Championships Nov 14, 2009

My training was on and I was ready to hopefully achieve a top ten place in my age group at the Half Ironman World Championship in Clearwater, Florida. I qualified at Buffalo Springs Lake Texas 70.3, and made it to mile 52 of the bike before not being warned about some railroad tracks, losing control and then having a head on collision with a cone! Unfortunately, I broke my collarbone and wasn’t able to finish the race. This video cronicles my time up until the race. I’m thankful I have the opportunity to race and I’ll be back again next year!

I own my own Sports Nutrition Counseling / Coaching business called “FUEL YOUR PASSION” which allows athletes to use nutrition and correct training to take things to the next level! Please check out my website at www.fuelyourpassion.net, and my blog at www.fuelyourpassiononline.blogspot.com. Thanks!
